Jesica is just one of the numerous facebook users who patronize the RAMBAK CORDILLERA page. All members of this group have one thing in common, they are all cordillerans in one way or another. " It's just like being Home", Jesica says. " by clicking into the group's page, all posts and comments will be exclusively that of Rambak members alone and separated from the news feed traffic. Here i can relate to all members. There is a community here and i love being one of them. It gives me a sense of belongingness."
The Rambak Cordillera Page was created by Pio G. Velasco. A cordilleran by birth having been born in Sabangan, Mt. Province. His inclination to musical arts (he is a song composer by hobby) pushed him to dream of a converging zone for all kinds of cordilleran art. The opportunity came in facebook, Set up on May 23, 2011, the group is barely a month old but the page has already garnered numerous members to include local cordillerans and OFW'S from all parts of the world. In three weeks time, It has become the busiest page in the locality. This early acceptance may be attributed to the Page title in which Cordillerans can easily relate to and the warm and friendly Page atmosphere.
Posts by various various groups from around the world on their Ethnic Performances has become frequent in the Page. Poems, songs, greetings , videos and photos all pertaining to the art and culture of the Cordilleras is daily staple. Members have come to be at ease with each other and good camaraderie was developed.
The greeting AYUUHAAY!, a cry shouted out by most tribes after a round of gangsa has become the group's expression. With the able watch of the group's administrators, the page expanded dramatically. It has attracted people from all walks of life. It is foreseen to give Cordillerans a converging zone, a place in cyber space where they can relate to and call their own. It has become a "Hang out" place as some members call it. This is so because by just clicking into the group's page, a member would suddenly enter a place where friends abound. A place where one can shout out ayuuhaay! and gain an immediate and enthusiastic friendly response. The Rambak Cordillera Group is loved by its members for in here they feel they belong. .
